BearBin 240 Installation Guide

Thank you for choosing BearBin! Follow these simple steps to install your bear-proof container.

What You'll Need

• Your BearBin 240 container
• Mounting hardware (included)
• Drill with appropriate bits
• Level
• Measuring tape

Installation Steps

Step 1: Choose Your Location
Select a flat, stable surface away from trees or structures that bears could use for leverage. Ensure easy access for waste collection.

Step 2: Mark Mounting Points
Use the provided template to mark where you'll drill mounting holes. Use a level to ensure proper alignment.

Step 3: Secure the Base
Drill pilot holes and secure the mounting brackets using the included hardware. Tighten all bolts firmly.

Step 4: Test the Lock
Practice opening and closing the bear-proof locking mechanism several times to familiarize yourself with its operation.
